I’ve spent a large part of my adult life trying to figure this out: what does it actually take to lead yourself well so you can live an authentic, rich, meaningful life?
That question drove me into psychology, personal growth, into writing, and eventually into coaching. It’s also the question at the centre of HeartRich — a body of work focused on Self Leadership, emotional intelligence, and the kind of resilience that isn’t about toughening up, but about knowing yourself well enough to stay grounded when things get hard, and return to your true Self.
My coaching work sits at the intersection of leadership and personal development — which, in my experience, is not really an intersection at all. The way you lead others is a direct expression of your inner world and how you relate to yourself: your uncertainty, your need for control, your relationship with failure, the parts of yourself you’d rather not look at in a performance review. We work with all of it. Especially the parts that are tough for most people to look at: the people-pleasing, perfection-seeking, impostor-concealing, and self-critical parts.
I work with leaders who are good at what they do and want to get better — not just at the skills of leadership, but at the inner work that makes those skills have greater influence. I also work with professionals who are navigating a meaningful transition and need a thinking partner who will take their situation seriously and help them find clarity without rushing them toward a tidy answer.
My approach draws on Self Leadership frameworks, Emotional Intelligence research, principles from Positive Psychology, Internal Family Systems, Nonviolent Communication, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I held a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation, am now an MCC Candidate, and have been coaching for over 15 years.
I offer structured 6-12 month engagements for clients who want sustained, focused work on a specific goal. Most sessions are held virtually — with some exceptions.
